We're hiring! Senior and Principal Policy Advisors
We are looking for talented principal and senior policy advisors for positions within our inquiry teams. These could be experienced policy generalists or economists able to turn their skills to any topic of importance to New Zealand.
We will consider permanent or fixed-term roles or secondments for policy people with expertise specific to the new inquiry topics: Technological change, disruption and the future of work; and Local government funding and financing. Both topics are significant for the future of New Zealand.
Our independence, and our reputation for high-quality analysis and meaningful engagement, puts the Commission in a unique position to influence public policy debates. We aim to provide insightful, well-informed and accessible advice that leads to improved economic, social and environmental outcomes for New Zealanders. Our work to date has contributed to significant policy reform.
The quality of our people is critical to our success. Our people have stellar research, analysis and writing skills, and can turn high-quality analysis into influential policy advice. In turn, we offer an intellectually stimulating, supportive and family friendly workplace.
