2018 Conference on Labour, Employment and Work
‘Work and Wellbeing’
The LEW Conference is organised by the Centre for Labour, Employment and Work (CLEW)at Victoria University of Wellington.
The conference was established more than 30 years ago as an important national labour-market research symposium bringing together leading labour market scholars and policy makers. In recent years the scope of this biennial conference has broadened and now includes papers from a broad range of disciplines with differing perspectives on labour, employment and work.
The conference has traditionally been the meeting ground for academics, researchers from the public and private sectors including trade unions, and government policy makers. It has also welcomed and encouraged new researchers, including those undertaking post-graduate research at masters or doctoral levels, to present current research. To this end, the conference will be preceded by a free one day post-graduate research symposium on 28 November 2018.
The theme of this year's conference is 'Work and Wellbeing'. Find out more and register at www.lewconf.co.nz/events/work-and-wellbeing-lew-2018/
