PHARMAC is tasked with achieving the best health outcomes within available funding. Carsten Schousboe is a Senior Health Economist who has undertaken cost benefit analysis on a large number of PHARMAC’s new investment decisions. Carsten will outline how this analysis is undertaken in PHARMAC’s health economics team and how economic analysis fits into PHARMAC’s decision making framework.
